In order to use chatr data on your own phone, you will need to update your APN settings.
If you have an iPhone/iPad:
- For some iOS versions, you can view the APN settings on your device in Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network and change it to chatrweb.apn
- For iOS5 to iOS8, please click www.chatrmobile.com/setmyiphone from the internet browser of your iPhone/iPad to get the settings automatically pushed to your device.
- For iOS9 or later you can use chatr data on your iPhone/iPad immediately.
- If you have another type of phone (Android, Symbian, etc.)
For chatr data:
- The data APN <Access Point Name> is chatrweb.apn
- The APN Protocol is IPv4v6
- The APN Roaming Protocol is IPv4v6
For chatr MMS settings:
- The MMS APN <Access Point Name> is chatrweb.apn
- The MMS URL is http://mms.chatrwireless.com
- The MMS Proxy address is mmsproxy.chatrwireless.com
- The MMS port is 80
Devices that use the following frequencies are compatible with our network:
2G (GSM/EDGE): 850MHz, B5
3G (UMTS/HSPA): 850MHz, B5
LTE: 700MHz, B12 | 850MHz, B5 | 1900MHz, B2, B25 | 1700/2100MHz(AWS) B4, B66 | 2600MHz, B7
Note: availability of each frequency listed above varies by cell site, and devices that support more frequencies, both within a network technology and across different network generations, will have access to more wireless coverage.
