How to set up voicemail for the first time

Steps

1. Press and hold 1 on your chatr phone to access voicemail.
2. When prompted, enter your 4-digit password (the default is the last 4 digits of your phone number).
3. Follow the prompts to create a new password (4 to 10 digits long) and record your name and personal greeting or use the default message.

How to listen to messages

From your chatr Mobile phone:

1. Press and hold 1 for a few seconds on your chatr phone to access voicemail.
2. Enter your password when prompted.
3. Follow the instructions to listen to your messages.

   

From a landline or another phone:

1. Dial your chatr Mobile phone number.
2. When your recorded message starts, press #.
3. Enter your password when prompted.
4. Follow the instructions to listen to your messages.

   

How to change your greeting

1. Press and hold 1 on your chatr phone for a few seconds to access your voicemail.
2. Enter your password.
3. Press 4 to access Personal Options.
4. Press 3 to access the menu to change your personal greeting.
5. Press 1 to change your personal greeting.
6. Follow the instructions to keep or change your existing greeting.

   

How to change your Password

If you don’t know your password, send us a ticket to reset it.

1. On your phone’s keypad, select and hold 1.
2. Enter your 4-digit password. If this is your first time setting it up, use the last 4 digits of your phone number.
3. Select 4 for Personal Options.
4. Select 2 for Administrative Options.
5. Select 1 for Establish or Change Password.
6. Enter your new password, and then select #.
