Auto-pay
1. What is auto-pay?
Auto-pay is a convenient payment method that automatically charges to your pre-authorized credit card or debit card each month. It's one less thing to worry about each month and it keeps your account active all month, every month with no monthly bills. Plus, you can receive bonus offers for activating with an auto-pay plan.
2. What auto-pay offers are available?
If you're a new customer, you can visit our plans page to see the available offers.

If you're already a chatr customer, visit My chatr and select the "Enroll in auto-pay" link in the auto-pay box to see the available offers. Or if you're already enrolled in auto-pay, select the "Change auto-pay offer" link in the auto-pay box to see your available offers.
3. How do I sign-up for auto-pay?
If you are new customer, you can enroll in any one of our auto-pay plans and activate your service.

If you are an existing chatr customer, you can enroll in auto-pay by selecting the "Enroll in auto-pay" link in the auto-pay box available in My chatr at any time.
4. How can I receive the auto-pay bonus?
You will automatically receive your auto-pay bonus when you activate on one of our auto-pay plans. Your bonus will be applied to your account within 48 hours after your first successful payment taken on your anniversary date each month.

If you are already a chatr customer, you can enroll in auto-pay anytime by simply logging into My chatr and selecting "Enroll in auto-pay" in the auto-pay box.

Note: If applicable, you must be enrolled in the auto-pay dollar bonus for 8 continuous months. It can not be reinstated if you change your bonus offer.
5. Will my auto-pay bonus carry over month to month?
Your auto-pay data bonus offer has a duration of one month. It does not carry over month to month. You are eligible for the bonus offer as long as you remain on auto-pay

Note: If applicable, the auto-pay dollar bonus offer will carry over in your balance as long as your account remains active
6. How can I check my auto-pay bonus usage?
You can easily check your remaining data and account balance information at any time from your chatr phone. Just dial *225# on your chatr phone then push SEND/CALL for a free on-screen notification. Or you can check your auto-pay offer details by logging into My chatr.
7. Will I lose my bonus if I change my plan?
Your auto-pay data bonus is connected to your current chatr plan and may not be applicable to your new plan. To check if your current auto-pay bonus will apply to your new plan selection, visit My chatr and select "Change price plan/features" in quick links box.

Note: If applicable, the auto-pay dollar bonus offer will transfer over to any of our chatr plans as long as you remain on auto-pay.
8. I'm already an auto-pay customer. How can I get the bonus?
If you are already an auto-pay customer, you can view and select the offer available for your plan by selecting the "Change auto-pay offer" link in the auto-pay box available in My chatr.
9. Can I change my auto-pay bonus offer?
Yes, you can change your auto-pay bonus offer at any time. Visit My chatr and select the "Change auto-pay offer" link under the auto-pay section to see what current offers are available for you.

Note: If applicable, you must be enrolled in the auto-pay dollar bonus for 8 continuous months. It can not be reinstated if you change your bonus offer.
10. If my auto-pay bonus expires, what should I do?
If you have completed your offer, you can visit My chatr and select the "Change auto-pay offer" link to see what current offers are available for you.

Note: If applicable, the auto-pay dollar bonus offer will carry over in your balance as long as your account remains active.
11. Can I add extra money each month?(ie. monthly extra money)
Yes, adding extra money to your account each month is easy with auto-pay. Your monthly extra money can cover features not included in your plan like international long distance.
12. Will I receive a notification when I need to change my credit card?
Yes, you will receive two text message reminders before your credit card expires to keep your auto-pay bonus active, if applicable. You can easily update your credit card information, or add a new credit card, on My chatr at any time. Click the "Manage credit cards" link in the auto-pay box and follow the simple steps.
13. What happens if my credit card fails or expires?
You will receive a text message notifying you that your payment failed. You can easily update your credit card information or add a new credit card on My chatr and re-enroll in auto-pay. Click the "Manage credit cards" link in the auto-pay box and follow the simple steps.
14. How can I change my credit card on file?
You can easily update your credit card information, or add a new credit card, on My chatr at any time. Click the "Manage credit cards" link in the auto-pay box and follow the simple steps.
15. What credit cards can I use for auto-pay? Can I use my debit card?
We accept multiple credit cards when enrolling in auto-pay including Visa®, Visa® Debit, MasterCard®, MasterCard® Debit or American Express.
16. Will I lose my bonus if I cancel auto-pay?
If you cancel auto-pay you will lose your bonus. You can view our current auto-pay offers on our plans page, or when you reenroll in auto-pay.
