To ensure you always have the best experience, we have begun enabling* VoLTE (Voice over LTE) on chatr. This allows you to make voice calls over our 4G LTE network instead of the older 2G or 3G networks.
What are the benefits of using VoLTE?
VoLTE allows you to:
- Better call quality: VoLTE offers higher-quality voice calls with clearer audio compared to traditional calls
- Faster call setup: Calls connect more quickly with VoLTE
- Voice and data usage simultaneously: You can use mobile data like browsing the web, streaming or using apps while on a call
Verifying your device's compatibility
To enjoy VoLTE services, you need a phone that is compatible with chatr VoLTE technology. You can check your phone’s compatibility by using the following tool, just enter your phone’s brand and model to get started:

Also, you must update your device software. Without the update, you may lose calling ability as older networks are phased out. What you need to do:
- Check for the latest software update in your phone’s settings.
- Install any available updates.
- Restart your device after updating
