A chatr unlimited zone is the area where all your talk or your talk and texting are UNLIMITED depending on which plan you’re on. If you’re on our Unlimited Talk plan, your unlimited talking covers the province you’re in. And if you’re on our Unlimited Talk & Text plan, your unlimited talking and texting covers all of Canada! As long as you’re in a chatr unlimited zone, you’ll enjoy the perks of your chatr unlimited plan.

If you’re out of a chatr unlimited zone, no worries! We’ve still got you covered but some charges will apply to your usage so be sure to add some extra money to your account so that you can keep enjoying the perks of your unlimited plan.

Another bonus of our chatr zones is that there are several of them across the country so your chatr unlimited plan works the same when you’re in any of these chatr unlimited zones. Awesome!

Information for chatr Ottawa zone customers:
Ottawa Zone Customers with a 613 or 819 area code who are on the Unlimited Talk plan can make unlimited outgoing calls within the province of Ontario while located anywhere within the Ottawa zone.

If you travel outside of your chatr unlimited zone, no worries, we've still got you covered but some charges will apply to your usage. Be sure to add some extra money to your account so that you can keep your talking and texting going.

Don’t worry! We’ll try to make it easy for you…
There’s only a few things to consider when you’re talking or texting:
1. Where am I: when you’re in Canada, you’re either going to be in a chatr zone, or out of a chatr zone. If you’re out of a chatr unlimited zone… No worries! We’ve still got you covered but some charges will apply to your usage.
2. Who I’m calling: if you’re on the Unlimited Talk plan, extra chatr charges will apply if you’re calling someone outside the province you’re in. There’s no charge if you’re calling someone in your province. If you’re on the chatr Unlimited Talk & Text plan, you get to call or text anywhere in Canada, for no charge!
3. If you’re travelling outside of Canada or calling international numbers, pay-per-use charges will apply.

If you start a call in a chatr unlimited zone, the entire call is treated like you're in a chatr unlimited zone. Same goes if you start a call outside of a chatr unlimited zone, the whole call is treated (and rated) as if you're outside of a chatr unlimited zone, even if you drive inside a chatr unlimited zone.
