Mobile top-ups are really easy to make, and you can do them from basically anywhere!

1. Where can I buy a chatr top-up card?
You can purchase a chatr top-up card at any of the following retail locations:

2. How can I add money/top-up my account?
There are three simple ways to do this:
1. Use a chatr top-up card:

Dial *233* Your 12-digit chatr top-up card PIN number ‘#’ sign, then press the SEND/CALL button. Be sure you key in all characters with no commas, spaces or pauses before pressing the SEND/CALL button.

2. Use a credit card:

Dial *FILL (*3455), then press the SEND/CALL button. This allows you to add an instant top-up to your chatr account with a credit card on file. Plus, when you sign up for auto-pay you will be eligible for our special auto-pay plans and offers!

3. Top-up online and with the My chatr app:

  • Download the My chatr app
  • Sign into your chatr account with your username and password
  • Choose the top-up method you prefer from the buttons at the bottom of the screen - credit card, chatr top-up card or enroll in auto-pay
  • Follow the easy steps by entering in your details to complete your top-up

My chatr online

  • Sign into your chatr account with your username and password
  • Select top-up with a credit card, Interac® Online, Visa Debit, Debit MasterCard or chatr top-up card
  • Follow the easy steps by entering in your details to complete your top-up

3. Can I use chatr top-ups, Visa Debit or Interac® Online if I'm on auto-pay?

Yes, if you’re on chatr auto-pay, you can also use Visa Debit, Interac® Online or chatr top-ups to put extra money in your account on a one-time basis. Your preauthorized payments will still continue unless you unsubscribe to chatr auto-pay.

If you’re using chatr auto-pay and reach the maximum balance, we’ll give your credit card a break and will only resume automatic charges when there’s enough room. You don’t have to do a thing.

4. What is a chatr top-up?

A chatr top-up is a one-time payment to your account that covers your monthly plan fee and any extras not included in your plan.

There are many convenient ways to top-up:

You can pay with a credit card, Interac® Online, Visa Debit, Debit MasterCard or a chatr top-up card. Chatr top-up cards are available at many retailers across Canada in $5, $10, $25, $40 and $50 denominations.

5.What is the chatr top-up contest?

Top up your account through the My chatr app from the months of August to October 2018, and you will be automatically entered to win a $50 chatr top-up card. The draw will take place in November 2018 and we’ll be selecting 100 lucky people! Potential winners will be contacted through email so make sure your account information is up to date.
