Before your anniversary date each month, you’ll need to pay your monthly fee and add extra money (if you want) to cover any stuff that isn’t included in your plan, or for any stuff you do outside your unlimited chatr zone.
We, personally, recommend signing up for “auto-pay” with your credit card. This pre-authorized payment service takes the guesswork out of when and how much you have to pay so that your account will keep running smoothly.
Otherwise, you’ll have to be on top of things and make sure there is enough balance in your account before your anniversary date. We call this the self-pay option where you pay using your credit card or by buying a chatr top-up voucher from a chatr wireless retail location.

A chatr zone is the physical area where all your talk or your talk and texting are UNLIMITED depending on which plan you’re on. If you’re on our Unlimited talk plan, your Unlimited talking covers the province you’re in. And if you’re on our unlimited talk & text plan, your unlimited talking covers all of Canada! As long as you’re in a chatr zone, you’ll enjoy the perks of your Unlimited chatr plan.
If you’re out of a chatr zone, no worries, we’ve still got you covered but some charges will apply to your usage so be sure to add some extra money to your account so that you can keep your talking and texting going.
Another big bonus of our chatr zones is that there are several of them across the country so your Unlimited chatr plan works the same when you’re in any of these chatr zones. Awesome!
Your anniversary date is a recurring date that's set to the day you activate your chatr service. Your Unlimited plan fee is deducted from your account on this day every month so you can continue talking & texting worry-free. So make sure you have enough balance in your account by 3am Central time every anniversary (our helpful tip is to sign up for autopay).
By the way, if you happen to activate on the 29th, 30th or 31st of the month, your anniversary date will be set to the 28th of all subsequent months.
